    Great to see live!

    Alter Bridge, as well as their openers Mammoth WVH and Pistols at Dawn were all excellent to see/hear live. I've been to converts for other bands where the live experience sounded nothing like the produced versions. That was not the case here. They all sounded as good or better live and they put on a great show with tons of enthusiasm. The venue had really good acoustics and was small enough that there wasn't a bad seat in the house. It was odd to me that it was essentially a large ballroom across the street from the Silver Legacy, but I would definitely see another show there. It sounded so much better than a large stadium. My only complaint is that the volume was excessive at times, especially when Mammoth WVH played. My watch was showing 104 to 105 dB. Three days later, my ears are still ringing. Still, I loved the show and I would definitely see them again.
